The Town Enforces the Local Laws & Ordinances that pertain to Dog Control. Wildlife Control is Handled by the NYS DEC Region 7.

The Dog Control Officer for the Town of Williamstown enforces Local Laws & Ordinances for dogs.

DOG LICENSES

Licenses are purchased through the Town Clerks Office: See Town Clerk for Office Hours.

Requirements & Fees

All dogs four months old & older shall be licensed. The Fee is $10.00 for dogs that are spayed or neutered. The fee is $ 20.00 for a dog that is not spayed or neutered. 

A copy of a current rabies vaccination and spay or neutering certificate, if applicable, with appropriate fee must be submitted at time of application.
